I have been heliskiing in BC each year for the past 15 years. I've visited four different BC companies and this is now my go-to place. The staff are trustworthy and friendly, the terrain is excellent, and most importantly they're in the "sweet spot" for getting lots of light and deep snow! (I've been rained out more than once at other places.) If you like tree skiing, go early season.

Best riding experience I ever had.

I went there end of season and it hadn't snowed in Revelstoke for 12 days but still snow condition was really good and all the terrains that they were taking us were un tracked!

About 15 runs each.

The lodge was really nice and convenient, lodge's chef was serving us delicious healty dishes all nights.

I loved every thing about Eagle pass.

Revelstoke is renowned for the heli skiing so it seems only apt to go heli skiing when in Revelstoke. The Revelstoke heli skiing is well known for being steep and deep, and if that’s what you’re after, then Eagle Pass Heli Skiing is the company to head out with for at least one day. The other Revelstoke day heli skiing outfit tends to cater best to relatively inexperienced powder skiers and snowboarders, whereas Eagle Pass is better suited to expert riders.

One of the reasons for this is the small group heli skiing format. In any group the guide has to cater to the lowest common denominator, and when the group has 11 people, there’s a good chance that everyone will have to ski easy slopes. With Eagle Pass there are only 3 other guests in your group, so there’s a much higher chance of being matched with others of the same ability. The Eagle Pass terrain is the other major contributor. Even if avo conditions prevent you from heading into the alpine, the terrain for experts below the treeline is sick! Some of the slopes aren’t super steep, but there are an abundance of launching pads to keep things challenging.

Paul at Eagle Pass Heli Ski
Great snow (that's me in the whiteroom above) and some epic lines! Only drawback is that we only skied one day and I think you need at least 2 days (plus) as most of the first morning is taken up with a very thourough safety breifing. That also would give the guide a better understanding of the skiing ability of the group and therefore let you rip it up a bit more.

Love the small groups...it's the only way to fly.

I know Scott Newsome will make this heli-ski operation one of the best in the world...maybe even the best!
