Great Location, Great Hosts, Great Property

21/04/2017
The Powderhounds have not yet visited this property however we have compiled an editor’s review and ratings based on trawling and summarizing dozens of reviews. Here is what the general consensus was:

There was hardly a fault with these villas according to guests who pretty much all rated them as either excellent or very good.

Here is a summary of what people had to say:

SERVICE - they all raved about the great service provided by the hosts who were always there to answer questions, book restaurants and clear snow from the driveway.

FACILITIES - the villas are really great, the underfloor heating keeps the place cosy and is ideal for drying gear each night. The 2 bathrooms is great with the bedroom downstairs having its own bathroom and the master upstairs also having its own. The water was always hot and great pressure. The beds were also said to be comfortable.

On the downside, a couple of people with young kids commented that the stairs were a bit unsafe and the kids required constant supervision.

LOCATION - the villas are well located in relation to the lifts (and evidently you can ski home?). There is a good selection of restaurants and bars within an easy walk.

EXTRAS - evidently a daily breakfast is provided as part of the nightly rate which is served over at the Gakuto Lodge (across the road). However most said that it was great that it was a free bonus but the quality (and sometimes quantity) lacked. The hosts also run 2 supermarket shuttles each day at 5pm and 6m so you can pick up groceries and snacks.

Overall this place looks awesome however some believe it is probably better suited to families with older kids of larger groups.
