Where is Log Cottage Epoch?

Log Cottage is located in Lower Wadano, close to the Happo village of Hakuba. Despite being just up the hill from the Happo One slopes, the cottages are in a very secluded forested location. The cottages are about 100m to the elevator lift to get down the hill. From the base of the elevator, it’s only 240 metres walk to the Happo Adam gondola.

Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal is 800 metres from Log Cottage Epoch.

The staff provide van transport around Hakuba to the slopes, supermarket and restaurants.

Free parking is available for those with a rental car.

Accommodation

The cottages range in size and cater for 4-10 guests. Some cottages have western beds with hardwood floors, while most are Japanese style and have bedrooms with tatami (woven-straw) floors and futon bedding. Each cottage comes with an en suite bathroom with bath.

Japanese style cottage (up to 4 guests) has 4 futon beds.

Japanese style cottage (up to 6 guests) has 6 futon beds.

Japanese style cottage (up to 10 guests) has 5 futons in each of 2 separate rooms.

Western style cottage (up to 5 guests) has 3 bedrooms. BR1: 2 single beds. BR2: 2 single beds. BR3: 1 single bed.

Each cottage includes a kitchen with fridge, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. Each cottage has a living area/s with sofa and arm chairs, and the Japanese cottages have Japanese-style tables for dining. The western cottages have a combustion fireplace and all are well heated.
