Gulmarg Hotels

Gulmarg accommodation varies significantly from a lovely 5-star hotel and a deluxe hotel, down to very primitive Gulmarg hotels where the hot water and heating may be dodgy and/or not 24 hours a day. Gulmarg is a place where the number of stars as determined by the hotel, may not equate to ratings in other countries. Given the low cost of living in Kashmir, the cost of Gulmarg accommodation is often very high for the quality of accommodation.

Some of the Gulmarg hotels are close to the Gulmarg Gondola (the main event for international skiers and snowboarders), whilst other hotels have proximity to the market and/or the poma serviced mellow slopes of Gulmarg. Taxis to get around the village are rather inexpensive.
