For the Hakuba part of the trip you will stay at the Meteor Log Hotel
which is a 7 bedroom Canadian log-style chalet which sleeps up to 22 guests.
It is located in the Echo Land village and is an easy walk to restaurants & bars.
The hotel/chalet provides lovely communal spaces and a self-cater kitchen so you can cook your own meals if you prefer.
All rooms have private en suite bathrooms (with bath tub) and include soap, shampoo, toothbrush, hair dryer and towels.
There is a common computer for guest use and wifi is available. There are also on-site laundry facilities.
A daily breakfast is provided as part of the package and you can self-cater your evening meals or the lodge hosts can provide evening meals for an extra fee.
The lodge also offers a free shuttle service to the slopes, however you wont require this as you have your own private shuttle service for the duration of the tour.

The lodging for the Myoko Kogen part of the trip is staying at the Kougakuro Hotel
which is ideally located at the top of the main village, 2 minutes walk to restaurants & bars and about 5 minutes walk to the nearest lifts.
The hotel still has a traditional feel to it yet it has evolved over the last few years to cater well to westerners. It has a basic indoor and outdoor onsen with natural hot springs and it has a great communal lounge area with a fireplace and bar.
All rooms are Japanese-style (futons on the tatami flooring) and have a wash basin and a private toilet. Some of the rooms have a shower but most people tend to use the Japanese bathhouse (onsen) each day to wash. The rooms also have a small fridge and a TV (that only has Japanese stations) and a table to sit at.
The hotel does the most amazing Western buffet breakfast; you will need to do a lot of walking to keep the kilos off! And the night-time restaurant offers traditional Kaiseki (Japanese multi-course) and fresh Crab/Seafood cuisine. One or both of these meals is a must-do!
The hotel has free wifi throughout, drinks vending machines, a gift shop, a drying room, secure ski storage area and laundry facilities.

Day 2 to 5 (ski/ride Hakuba area):
Goodguides professional mountain guides will decide the best place to ski each day
. Your first morning will start with an in-depth avalanche safety briefing and training
