San Martin de los Andes Accommodations

The town of San Martin de los Andes offers a wide range of accommodation for various budgets. There are about 50 accommodation operators consisting of hotels, hosterias (guest houses), apart-hotels, apartment complexes and hostels within 1km of the town centre. There are also plenty of private holiday homes & individual apartments and cabanas for rent.

Unlike Bariloche and Villa la Angostura, only a very small amount of lodging is lakeside or overlooking the lake.

If you are keen to experience the fabulous restaurants & bars in San Martin, staying in town is the best option as public transport around town in the evening is limited, as is car parking in the central district. Given you will most likely have driven to San Martin in a rental car it may also be a priority to source properties with on-site car parking.

San Martin de los Andes Hotels & Hosterias

There is a reasonable range of hotel-style accommodations in San Martin de los Andes within easy walking distance to restaurants & bars. Many come under the title of a "hosteria" or guest house where rooms are generally hotel-like. There are about 20 hotels & hosterias within 1 km of the centre of town. There are only 3x4-star hotels and 12x3-star so don't expect any opulent resorts in town and prices vary greatly from very good value to some pretty expensive hotels.

San Martin de los Andes Self-Cater Accommodation

There are a few apartment complexes close to the town centre offering self-cater facilities. Cabanas can also be a good choice for economical self-cater lodging if you’re travelling in a group of 3 or more people.
