How To Get There

Where is Norquay?

Norquay is located just minutes from Banff Alberta - only 6 kilometres away. From Calgary it’s 120km away along the Trans Canada Highway 1, off the second exit to Banff.

Getting To Norquay from Banff

See the Banff travel page for information on getting to Banff.

Shuttles
There are shuttle buses from several Banff hotels to the Norquay ski area. There are multiple schedules to the resort in the morning and various return trips in the afternoon. The shuttle buses also run in the evenings when night skiing is on. Fares for the bus are reasonably priced or the shuttle buses are complimentary if you have a tri-area lift ticket (NB it’s cheaper to buy a Norquay lift ticket and bus fare than to use a tri-area lift pass).

Driving
The 6km drive from downtown Banff to Norquay is super easy. Head towards the Trans-Canada highway and then up Mount Norquay Scenic Drive. Sign-posting is very good so there’s no fear of getting lost.
