Coast Range Heli Skiing Day Packages

Coast Range Heli Skiing offers single day Whistler heli ski excursions, although once you get a taste for the untouched powder, you may want to head out for multiple days! The Coast Range Heli-Skiing terrain includes 200,000 acres of incredible Whistler-Pemberton backcountry spread across 11 zones.

Each package includes the guided heli skiing, with a minimum of 5 run, and more if your legs are up for it and the conditions align.

You can choose between semi-private heli skiing or private heliskiing, so it’s a very boutique experience with only one to two groups per helicopter to ensure a good flow for the day. Mixed group heli skiing is not available, so solos and duos can’t join others to form a group.

Semi-Private

  • Up to 4 guests in your group + 1 guide
  • 2 groups in an A-star helicopter
  • The helicopter will be shared with one other group, alternating flights, but every descent remains exclusively for your group.

Private

  • Up to 4 guests + 1 guide
  • Exclusive use of the A-star helicopter
  • Maximum freedom, no crowds—just boundless peaks and powder, exactly the way you imagined it.
  • No more waiting around for others —it’s all about you and your group.

Private Plus

  • 5 to 8 guests + 2 guides
  • Exclusive use of Bell 212 Helicopter
  • Get your group together and own the mountainside - courtesy of the coolest chairlift.

Other Inclusions

A shuttle service is provided between your Whistler accommodation and the helicopter staging area.

Ski or snowboard rentals are included, courtesy of Black Tie Whistler. A powder-specific board or powder skis will ensure you can completely find your snow-jo. Go-pro rental is also included so you can capture your day.

Avalanche airbag packs, avalanche safety gear and radios are provided to all guests for your safety. Before the day begins on the mountain, guests must take part in a safety briefing which is conducted at the helicopter staging area. The briefing will cover helicopter safety, an overview of a typical day and what to expect, and an overview of avalanche rescue and how to use your beacon. A gourmet luncheon is also included.

You can see the Coast Range Heli-Skiing overview for more information including location and terrain.
