Lake Hawea Accommodation

Lake Hawea is even more beautiful than Lake Wanaka with its beautiful turquoise water and the lake is ringed by some rather dramatic mountain scenery. The Lake Hawea settlement on the shores of the lake is very quiet, and the place to go for a peacefully serene time. Lake Hawea is mostly residential, it only has 2 restaurants and bars, and it’s a great place to get away from the tourists. Lake Hawea is 17km northeast of downtown Wanaka, a drive that takes 15 minutes.
