Espot Ski Resort Spain
Espot is a small to medium sized ski resort tucked away in a secluded valley in the Spanish Pyrenees. Ski Terrain includes 30km of piste trails on a hefty 1000m of skiable vertical plus interesting off-piste & backcountry options.
See the Espot ski trail map.
The ski resort at Espot is near the starting point for Spain's best hut to hut ski tour, the 'Carros de Foc'.
Where is Espot Spain?
The Espot ski area is in the Spanish Pyrenees, 260km (3½hr) by road north of Barcelona (BCN) airport & 28km (30min) south of Spain’s largest ski resort, Baqueira Beret. Public transport in the region is relatively poor. Unless part of a ski tour, travel is best by rental car or private transfer direct from the airport to your hotel. Note that rental cars in Spain rarely come winterised, except for including snow-chains on request.

Espot Accommodation
The closest major town to the ski area is the pretty village of the same name, Espot. The smallish size of the town belies the fact it has loads of hotels, guesthouses, holiday homes & apartments available during the winter season.
