The day includes a picnic lunch on the mountain, guiding by highly experienced, qualified guides, and each guest is supplied with an avalanche airbag pack, containing a shovel, probe, and radio that must be worn by guests on each run.

Before the day begins on the mountain, guests must take part in a safety briefing which is conducted at the helicopter staging area. The briefing will cover helicopter safety; an overview of a typical day and what to expect; and an overview of avalanche rescue and how to use your beacon.
