Gorgeous Chamois

What a gorgeous place to spend a day or two.

Chamois is an island of serenity on its sunny, clifftop perch high above the valley. A beautiful compact village sets the tone for what is one of the loveliest ski areas we have ever been.

There are no crowds & the all pervading atmosphere is one of quiet & calm. The ski lifts are old & slow, the piste trails are long & fast, the lift ticket is cheap as chips & the snow is deep & good. Forgot to mention the views......

A lunch of grilled vegetables & polenta hit the spot & cost a pittance. Throw in a few Aperol Spritzers sitting across from the obligatory church & a brilliant day is had. Wish we had spent the night to fully round out the trip...

Visit on a sunny day to get the full experience.
