K's House Hokkaido
K’s House Hokkaido at Asahidake is an affordable hostel that offers dorm rooms as well as private rooms (Japanese or western style) that have an ensuite or private toilet. The onsen includes indoor & outdoor baths, and K’s House also has a self-catering kitchen and spacious communal lounge.
Where is K’s House Hokkaido?
K’s House is located in the Asahidake Onsen village, 1.2km from the Asahidake Ropeway. The staff offer a free shuttle service between the hostel and the Asahidake Ropeway.
Staff can also provide details on how to get a bus to Asahidake from Asahikawa and Furano. The bus stop is in front of the hostel.
Rooms
K’s House has a range of rooms, with either western style (western beds) or Japanese style with tatami flooring and futons on the floor. All room types include provision of sheets and towels.

For rooms without an ensuite, you can bathe in the onsen amenities onsite.

Dining
K’s House Hokkaido has a communal kitchen, and whilst the hostel sells some very basic food, there is no supermarket in the village so you’ll need to bring your own supplies for booking. Some basic sundries are supplied such as salt, pepper, soy sauce, and spices, and for breakfast 2 slices of bread and coffee are supplied.
There are no public restaurants in Asahidake, with the exception of the lunch-time cafeteria at the Asahidake Ropeway.
