Another option for Kiroro accommodation is to stay in the nearby town of Otaru, which is 28km from Kiroro. You can check out the Otaru hotels here. The seaside town of Otaru has a variety of good value hotels on offer as well as numerous restaurants & bars. It is possible to get a bus between Otaru train station & Kiroro but self-driving is the easiest option to get to Kiroro.

Sapporo is a great central location to stay to access Kiroro as well as other ski areas such as Teine and Kokusai. It has the added advantage of having hundreds of well priced hotels and literally thousands of restaurants & bars on offer.
