Owashi Lodge

Owashi Lodge is a hostel for backpackers and independent travellers looking for inexpensive Niseko accommodation. Owashi Lodge is really well located in the Upper Hirafu Village, only 100 metres to the lifts.

The hostel provides comfort, convenience and community, and with great communal spaces it gives guests a superb social setting to meet like-minded skiers and snowboarders. Or if you want to relax quietly there are quiet nooks to hang out.

Where is Owashi Lodge?

Usually you have to stay in a 4 to 5 star hotel in Niseko to be this close to the lifts! OK it’s not ski-in ski-out, but it almost is, being only a 2 minute walk between the lodge and the lifts. And you don’t have to ride the slow Family Ace chair lift like the punters staying further down the hill!

There are a few bars at the top of the Hirafu Village in Niseko Japan, with many more of Niseko’s famous restaurants and bars just a little further down the hill.

If you arrive in Hirafu Niseko via a shuttle bus from the airport you’ll be dropped off at the Hirafu Welcome Centre. From there the lodge will pick you up, although it’s so close that you could easily walk if you didn’t have much luggage.

Rooms

Owashi Lodge has four floors of clean, newly renovated twin rooms.  Room/accommodation types:

 

• Double bed bunk room: the lower bed of the bunk is a double and the top bed is a single - these rooms accommodate 2 adults (plus one child under 12 on request)
• One bunk room: private room with one bunk accommodating 2 guests
• Bed in a 2 person dorm room (male or female)
• Bed in a 6 person dormitory room

Linen and duvets are provided.

Shared bathroom and toilet facilities are available on every level segregated into male/female.

The hostel has expansive recreation areas with pool table, table-tennis, darts and TV area. Other facilities and services include:
