Pension Ing Tomamu

Pension Ing Tomamu is a nice little 11 room family run pension located about 10 mins drive from Tomamu ski area. It is an ideal place if you are on a budget and want to avoid the large sterile hotels & have a real Japanese experience.

RoomsThey offer simple western twin rooms with TV and all use shared bathroom facilities & a segregated male/female Japanese bathhouse.

Rooms are non-smoking but the common areas are OK for smoking so it does tend to wander into the rooms.

FacilitiesThe pension is simple and have a dinning area/restaurant serving western cuisine. They have a small bar service for guests as well as drinks vending machines.

There is a storage area for skis and free parking & wifi is available.

ServicesWhilst we were there the owner kindly drove us to/from the ski area however we are not sure if this is a promised service or just add-hoc (but the owner does have a small bus/van).

The owners really don't speak any English so expect to do a lot of signing;but they are very friendly and will take the time to understand what you are asking.

The owner also sells discounted lift tickets for the ski area.
