Snow Cat tour

The Cat and Ride day we did last week was superb. After 40 CMS of fresh snow, all 9 skiers/riders thoroughly enjoyed the day. We took it in turns to descend in stages, and were photographed multiple times by our chief guide, Jun- San, who also manages Clubman with his father. As a guide, Jun-san is positive, encouraging and super friendly. Highly recommend this tour.

We arrived in the last week of January, with the likelihood of good snowfalls in the next few days, to discover we were the only guests. An excellent dinner was served by our host Jun-san. The closest resort is Shimokura and Appi Mogen only a 15 minute drive. I expected the place to be full of keen powder seekers. We have booked to go on the Cat and Ride tour on Wednesday; I will add a review of that. This place is wonderful, with charming English-speaking hosts. Our room is larger than expected, the dining area roomy and warm and the jacuzzi downstairs large enough for 4.
