Nice and tidy accomodation close to Ikenotaria ski hill. Guest transport to pick you up from the train station and gave us the option of car rental or morning shuttle service to get to the local slopes.. we opted for car rental to get to the likes of madarao and lotte arai. The car was also good to do road trips to the coast and see the snow monkeys.
Accomodation includes full cooked breakfast which was delicious and a fully stocked bar for some after hill acres.
Staff were accommodating and friendly.

Accommodation is very clean and cosy. The hosts Tristan and Eliza are legends themselves and very welcoming. Great breakfast in the morning. Cute little bar / common area where you can hang out for a drink or a social catch up with other guests. Great location near multiple ski resorts so a good variety to choose from to mix it up.

Legend Inn was perfectly placed deep in the snow. The veiws from our room were breathtaking. Our room was spacious, very clean and warm.

We woke up to a delightful hot breafast every morning and an an assortment of cerials, breads, condiments, coffee, tea and hot chocolate (which the kids loved)
Staff would drop up up the hill of a morning and we had access to public trasport right accross the road.

My husband and I had 17 days at Legend Inn in February 2024. It was a dream.
Tristan and Eliza are fabulous hosts and the lodge is a home away from home.
The rooms are spacious and quiet, the beds are thankfully so comfortable.
Their staff were great at transporting guests to dinner reservations all around Akakura and the bus stops just outside the door if you miss your in-house transport to the slopes.
They organise everything you could want for your stay. Including Snowboard lessons, In-house masseuse , dinner reservations after a few cocktails at Trickys Bar in the downstairs lounge area.
Tristan has a wide range of knowledge regarding the best slope for you on the day.
We cannot wait to get back to Myoko this coming season and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else!!
