Myoko Vista is a recently renovated boutique hotel with Japanese luxury and modern western conveniences located ski-in/ski-out in the Akakura Onsen area.

RoomsThere are 3 rooms types:

  • A Japanese-style room that sleeps up to 3 on futon beds on the tatami floor with private ensuite (shower & toilet)
  • 2 western-style rooms that sleep up to 3 in a queen or twin beds plus a sofa with private ensuite (shower & toilet)
  • A self-cater penthouse apartment that sleeps up to 4 has a full kitchen plus dining area.
All rooms have free high speed internet and smart TV

Property facilitiesThe property has a Japanese-style bathhouse, on-site parking for guests, a drying room and laundry facilities.

There is a communal lounge area with fireplace and a dining room where breakfast is served daily.

Other ServicesThe managers of the complex operate a couple of mini bus shuttles to take people to nearby ski areas plus for an additional fee they can arrange things like a visit to the snow monkey onsen.

Incredible Boutique Hotel

My partner and I have just had a fabulous 2 weeks at this fantastic boutique hotel and we cannot wait to return next season.
The hotel is ideally located in the snow, so you have easy access to ticket offices and lifts in Akakura Onsen and Akakura Kanko. It has been recently renovated so the rooms and amenities are in excellent condition and are very comfortable.
The owners, Louise and Warrick (Wombat) go out of there way to make sure all guests are looked after and you quickly feel like you are part of the family. The staff are also terrific and we need to make special mention of Jen, Junior, Alana, and James for looking after us so well. Thank you, Louise and Wombat for making our snow holiday so memorable. We look forward to seeing you next year.
