Where is Kaikake Onsen?
Kaikake Onsen Mitsumata is located deep in the mountains of Niigata, 3km from the Mitsumata station of Kagura Ski Resort (which is interconnected with Naeba Ski Resort) and 4km from Tashiro Station (and 11km drive to Naeba).
Kaikake Onsen is 11km from the Echigo Yuzawa train station in Yuzawa. There are buses from the train station to the Kaikake Onsen bus stop, and the ryokan provides free transport from there.
Skiers and snowboarders will want to have a car.
Guest Rooms
The Kaikake Onsen ryokan has beautiful Japanese tatami rooms with up to 3-4 futons. The rooms have a private toilet and in traditional ryokan style, bathing is in the onsen.
