Overall the majority of people rated this establishment as excellent however there were a few dissatisfied customers most due to some service issues. Here's a summary of what people had to say:

LOCATION - most people rated to location positively as it was only 5 mins walk to ski lifts and to the centre of the village. There are also several restaurants all within a couple of minutes walk.

ROOMS - the rooms were said to be "funky open plan" and the beds were very comfortable (but only single bed options available). Kitchens was well appointed for cooking up simple meals and snacks.

MEALS - included in the rate is daily breakfast supplies for you to cook up your own breakfast. It was said by most people that the quantity and variety of produce supplied was great. There is also a restaurant opposite the property that people raved about.

FACILITIES - the property has its own onsen in the basement which many commented on its convenience and not having to duck out to the public bath houses. A couple of people said that these onsens were a bit average. The drying room was said to be very good at drying gear.

SERVICE - it was said by most that the staff were very helpful and that whilst they didn't all speak fluent English, you could get by. One thing that was a consistent theme in the reviews was that the apartments are meant to be serviced (cleaned, new sheets & towels and rubbish cleared)every 3 days however in many instances this only partially happened or didn't take place at all.

Based on what I have read and the experiences people have had at Address Nozawa, I feel that the only issues are small things that ca be addresses with some training. I noted in Trip Adviser that the manager had responded to the issues with cleaning to say that this would be addressed (but things do take time to change in Japan!).

I would have no problems in recommending this property.
