Kawamotoya has recently been transformed into luxury western-style apartments with all of the modern conveniences you could wish for.

Apartments vary in size from studios, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom & a family apartment for up to 8.

All apartments have kitchens or kitchenettes and each room has its own private ensuite with toilet and shower or bath. Bathroom amenities are also provided along with a yukata & slippers. Free wifi & parking are also provided.

Kawamotoya is located on the edge of Nozawa Onsen town about a 5 minute walk to the central village area and a 10 - 15 minute up-hill walk to the travelator. There are many restaurants between the hotel and the village.
