Toemu Nozawa Lodge

Toemu Nozawa Lodge in Nozawa Onsen is a Japanese inn with some western comforts. Guest rooms have tatami flooring & either western beds or futons. Some rooms have private toilet or ensuite. Small onsen baths onsite. 450 metre walk to Nagasaka gondola and 170m to centre of town.

Where is Toemu Nozawa Lodge?

Toemu Nozawa Lodge (formerly Resort in Toemu) has a nice half way location between the Nagasaka Gondola for skiing or snowboarding, and the village for drinks and dinner in the evening. The lodge is a 450m walk to the Nagasaka Gondola, a 200m walk to Oyu street (main street of Nozawa Onsen), 250m walk to the bus station and within easy walking distance of various free local onsens.

Rooms

The rooms are Japanese style with shoji screens and tatami straw matting. Some have low western beds whilst others have comfortable futons on the floor. Linen is provided. Most rooms utilise communal bathrooms.
