The drive heads past latitude 45 degrees and there are brief stops at picturesque spots such as Mirror Lakes and Knob’s Flat. Another stop at the Chasm is essential, which involves a 5 minute walk to an amazing rock opening where thousands of litres of water squirt through. The last part of the drive is particularly spectacular with dense forests, dramatic steep snow-covered mountains, waterfalls and rivers. The coach trip finishes at the Milford marina.
