Ah Springfield! Home to the Simpsons, Principal Skinner, Krusty the Clown and of course ……. the Springfield Pub. Just ask the locals at the local watering hole (the Springfield Pub) and they’ll attest to the existence of those colourful cartoon characters. In fact, stay at the pub long enough and I’m sure you’ll end up seeing a few of them for yourself!

Fictional characters aside, if you’re going to sample the delights and adventure of the world’s best club fields and low key commercial fields, Springfield is in a good position to easily travel to a few of them.

Springfield is a small town, with very little to do besides the local skiing and snowboarding. Once you’ve taken a selfie with the big pink doughnut, eaten a Springfield doughnut from the food truck, had a coffee at the Taste of Kiwi café, and a feed and brew at the pub, then you’ve sampled the highlights of Springfield. You can save a lot of energy for the slopes and the ropetows.
