Where is Mountain Dreaming?
Mountain Dreaming is nestled in behind the well known bar and restaurant The General at
Mt Hotham. Mountain Dreaming is just 100 m walk from the Big D Ski Lift (beginners’ slope) and kids’ ski school. The bus stop out the front of The General is for the free village shuttle that during winter takes you up to Hotham Central and the main lifts and slopes, or to the kids toboggan slope in the other direction.
It’s possible for advanced skiers and snowboarders to “ski-out” from across the road from The General to the Mt Hotham Ski Resort, and then use the bus service to return to Mountain Dreaming.
The closest ski and snowboard hire shop is a 260m walk away.
