We booked the 12 day powder highway tour as part of our honeymoon this February. Fresh Adventures truly exceeded our expectations - 10 days of skiing at 5 amazing mountains, delicious meals, great accommodations, and seamless travel. Our guides Mac & Jafar were true experts when it comes to the BC mountains and showed us around each hill from first to last chair each day. In addition to being great guides, they were also genuinely awesome people and went above & beyond to make the trip special - baking cookies and writing Valentine’s for the whole group on Feb 14 & even bringing a bottle of bubbly to the top of Kicking Horse on the last day to celebrate the end of our honeymoon adventure.

This tour is perfect for adventurous skiers who love to dip into trees and hike to jaw-dropping scenic runs. The days are long & full, but we woke up each morning ready & excited to take on the next adventure. Some of our personal ski highlights were hiking to the Terminator 2 peak at Kicking Horse, sliding through glades on the Ripper chair & Conifers of Gnarnia at Revelstoke, and hitting endless freshies on a powder day at Whitewater.

The guides also provided tons of great recommendations in each town we visited. Nelson & Revelstoke were definitely our favorites. The pacing of the trip was perfect, with 3 nights spent in the towns with more to see/do, and quicker stops in the quieter places.

Even in a year where BC has suffered from low snow levels, this was truly the trip of a lifetime & an excellent induction to the Powder Highway. We will definitely be back!

12 day ultimate powder highway safari with Fresh Adventures was amazing. It wasn't the greatest powder season but our guides Mac and Jafar still managed to lead us to some freshies even if we had to sometimes hike for our turns. Tour structure, transport and accommodations were excellent and great value for money. Our tour had 9 guests and 2 guides, transport was a large comfortable mini bus with a luggage trailer and rooms were extra large comfortably fitting 2 double beds and 2 ski bags, which was great as most of us were sharing rooms, most hotels had hot tubs, pools and other facilities. Both guides went out of their way to ensure everyone had the best possible experience and dealt professionally with every request, skied with us every day, organized restaurants for dinner most nights and appeared to be having as much fun as we were all having. Highly recommend the company, the tour and the guides.

I didn’t want to duplicate the two excellent reviews below; I was on the same trip as the authors of these and I 100% agree with all that is written in both.

I was a solo traveller to Canada, taking the trip with the aim of experiencing a different kind of skiing holiday from those that I had previously had over the last 25 years in Europe.

I was not to be disappointed, learning new skills and techniques to improve my “non groomer” skiing immeasurably. Although some might argue otherwise, and I still insist that the “Tomahawk” was completely intentional!

Our amazing guides Mac and Jafar were outstanding, there was always a plan for everything, food, ski runs, traveling, watching the Superbowl etc. All worked in my eyes seamlessly, and nothing was ever too much effort, they knew just were to find the rights runs with the best fresh tracks in each resort.

Like I said, I travelled on my own, but I never felt like I was, the group were fantastic, and everyone looked out for each other, the good-natured banter and camaraderie was bang on. I had thought the road trips between resorts might be a bit of a bind, but I really enjoyed and looked forward the drives and the amazing views that each one brought.

After the trip finished, I stayed on in Banff for another week, as it seemed unthinkable not to, having travelled all that way from the UK. Sunshine Mountain and Lake Louise were equally as amazing as the other resorts we visited on the trip.
Everywhere we went locals apologised about the snow conditions this season, so if this was bad, I would really love to ski it all again in a good year. We had a couple of days where conditions were a bit icy but having only ever skied in Europe before I would still have classed the conditions as exceptionally good.

My experience of Fresh Adventures was first class, the tour represented excellent value for money. The hotels that we stayed in were more than good enough for this kind of trip and well-chosen for comfort and location.

If you are looking for an adventure, and like me to extend your skiing abilities in wider range of conditions, I would highly recommend looking at what Fresh Adventures have to offer.

Amazing Powder Highway trip, would give Alex and his company 6 stars if possible. With our guide everyday, we were able to experience so much more terrain than otherwise possible. Logistics and restaurant recommendations were taken care of and allowed us the time to just enjoy the snow.

12 day powder hwy ski tour. 8 people on a private tour with owner/ guide Alex. Everything went together seemlessly. Great guiding, timely transfer, good accom and great resorts. Couple of great natural hot springs and excellent dinners out. Cannot fault the organisation and the atmosphere created. We all loved it. Alex did an amazing job.

Just returned from an amazing 12 day skiing tour around the Powder Highway in western Canada. We were fortunate to have fantastic skiing conditions with fresh powder throughout the week. The tour was extremely well organised and our guide, Alex, was efficient, punctual, informative, friendly and made sure all our needs were catered for.

We had a group of eight boarders and skiers of mixed abilities and Alex ensured that all of us had a good experience. The guiding enabled us to see and ski parts of the resorts that we would never have found by ourselves, including back country, ridges and tree runs covered in fresh powder. For those less experienced skiers there was always an easy option. If you are an experienced skier the CAT day tour is a must. We skied pristine back country deep powder inaccessible by any other means.

The visit to the hot springs was also a great way to relax after a heavy days skiing.

We ate dinner at fantastic restaurants, sampling the local produce and beer along the way, before returning to a comfortable bed and hot shower.

After recently completing the 12 day power highway tour with Alex as our guide, I can unreservedly recommend Fresh adventures. Alex was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and he spectacularly improved our experiences at each of the mountain resorts. From restaurants he recommend, to particular runs on the mountain to suit my skill level (he even threw in a few skiing tips), Alex was indispensable. If you are considering a trip like this, definitely use a guide (as it will massively enhance your trip) and definitely use Fresh Adventures. Alex you are a legend. Thanks for the great memories.

Fresh Adventures tour was nothing short of incredible, our tour guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and ensured it was action packed from the minute we joined the tour. If you are looking to explore tons of hidden runs, experience multiple mountains and go on a real adventure then this is the trip for you.

I just got back last week from a 12d private trip with Alex (owner and guide). There were 8 of us and we were lucky enough to time perfect snow conditions every day. The trip was unbelievably good. Alex was a great guide, organiser, driver, and person generally. I was not convinced on the benefit of a guide before the trip but we got to the best part of the mountain from the first run each day, rather than exploring for days before finding where to go. I now LOVE the idea of a guide!! The local knowledge on the mountain was invaluable. Alex is a great skier and can guide you to the most difficult (and secret) chutes, trees and spines to the easiest way down the mountain. A second guide would have been worthwhile as there was a bit of variation in ski ability in our group, but we all enjoyed it thoroughly. Off the slopes was made easy for us - transport up and back from the mountain, dinners, hot springs and suggestions for exploring or having a day off. I can thoroughly recommend!

Outstanding trip along the powder highway! Castle mountain, Fernie, Whitewater, Red mountain, Revelstoke and Kicking horse! Having Alex guide us each day made it even better. He had us heading down all the best runs in every location, including a few hidden gems. And after a hard day in the powder he showed us some of the best local dining spots to refuel at so we could battle the powder again the next day. 10/10 for the snow, destinations and personal service. Thanks Alex. Definitely booking my next Canadian adventure with Fresh Adventures.
