Kiroro Resort & Backcountry Extension
Kiroro is famous for its deep and dry powder snow. In fact they receive about 20% to 30% more snow than even Niseko each season!!
Unfortunately
Kiroro has become incredibly expensive over that past few years as a destination predominantly by being taken over by Club Med, however Soul Tours now offer a budget oriented solution staying in simple accommodation in Akaigawa (about 20 mins drive from the resort).
Kiroro is a complex mountain to work out for its backcountry and sidecountry, so an experienced guide is included in the package so you can make the most of your time there.
At the end of each day you will be driven back to your accommodation where you will find a nice onsen about 100m from the lodge. Breakfast and dinner is included in the package.
Lift tickets are not included in the price however you'll have access to discounted tickets.
Whilst this sample itinerary for the Kiroro Resort and Backcountry Extension is based on 2 days and 2 nights, it can be any duration with a minimum of 2 nights.
If you have any questions, please

Group Type
These tours are based on PRIVATE GROUPS of 2 - 6 guests. Skiers and snowboarders are welcome and you should have a minimum ability of strong-intermediate with some powder riding/skiing experience.
Guiding
This tour includes backcountry guiding for those who are interested. Your guide will transport you to/from the resort each day and show you around as little or as much as you want (including the sidecountry & backcountry). As you will be a private group, it is ultimately up to you where you want to ski/ride.
Avalanche Safety
As part of the package, each person will be provided with a backpack with shovel, probe and a beacon to wear. You will be shown how to use these on your first morning.
Getting There
Whilst transport to/from the accommodation is not included, Soul Tours can arrange scheduled transfers from Niseko and Sapporo (and potentially other locations
upon request).
