Hidden Hokkaido
The Hidden Hokkaido Tour from Summit Ski is ideal for advanced skiers and riders who want to sample various Hokkaido ski areas.
The tour explores two prime zones in Hokkaido. From your base in
Niseko, which is famous for its vibrancy as well as being a powder machine, you'll explore Niseko United,
Rusutsu Ski Resort, and
Kokusai or
Kiroro. Then you'll head to your second base in
Furano in
Central Hokkaido, which is renowned for its quality powder snow. Your guide will show you the joys of Furano Ski Resort,
Tomamu,
Kamui and
Asahidake.
Fixed Date Mixed Group Tours
Solos, duos or small groups can join a mixed group tour.

Ability
This tour requires a minimum of 4 people. All skiers/riders must be advanced as a minimum and be comfortable skiing/riding powder in trees.
Equipment
All mountain/powder skis and snowboards will be needed for this trip. For skis a minimum of 100mm underfoot is recommended. As the terrain accessed on this tour is lift assisted, there will be no need for backcountry touring equipment. If the group is up for it, you'll undertake short bootpacks to get to the goods. Snowshoe rentals are available if you want to make this easier.
Avalanche safety equipment is essential and can be provided if required.

Private Tour
If you have your own group you can have a private tour, pending availability. You can choose the sort of terrain you want to ride, whether that be out the resort gates, lift-assisted touring, or full backcountry, and/or you can utilise the guide to get you more acquainted with touring.
Ability
It is up to you to choose your group, so ability level can be from strong intermediates who want to become familiar or more comfortable with powder riding, up to experts, however you’ll get the most out of the tour if everyone is at a similar level and has similar objectives.
This tour requires a minimum of 2 people to go ahead for a private format.
Equipment
The equipment required will depend on your objectives, and if getting away from the lifts is part of your goal, you’ll require a ski touring or splitboard set-up.
If you are riding powder terrain, avalanche safety equipment will be essential.
