Summit Ski Furano Area Guided Day Tours

Summit Ski offer PRIVATE GROUP (you cannot join a group) guided day tours from their Furano base for groups wanting to explore these resorts and other nearby resorts/ski areas.

As these are private groups, your group can determine the type of terrain and means of access i.e. do you want to do backcountry using split boards / touring skis, or access the sidecountry via lifts and maybe some short walks? Or you might just want to be shown around the off-piste terrain at a resort.

From Furano you have options such as Furano, Tomamu, Asahidake, Tokachidake, Kamui, Sahoro and more, plus nearby backcountry zones.

Safety

Summit Ski guides are a minimum of CAA Operations 1 or equivalent and there are also IFMGA guides on board too. Tail guides have a minimum of AST2 or equivalent.

All guests who wish to enter the sidecounty / backcountry will require avalanche safety gear.

Summit Ski have a range of rental gear available.

Ability

As tours are for private groups they are available to groups of strong intermediate & above.
