Las Trancas Accommodations

Las Trancas is a little alpine village at the base of the mountain, 7km from Nevados de Chillan. The town is spread out along Ruta 55 with lots of cute wooden buildings that add to the friendly feel of the place.

The advantages of staying in Las Trancas are that costs for accommodation are significantly reduced and you might get a true Chilean experience. There is also more of a range of restaurants and the après is more pumping than at the resort. One disadvantage of staying is Las Trancas is that there is no transport available to and from the ski resort, so you need to have your own wheels.
