Lodging Types: Farellones accommodations include hotels, lodges, hostels, apartments. There are more options at Farellones for those travelling alone or in pairs compared to La Parva and El Colorado where there is predominantly apartment style accommodation.

Slope Access: A few of the Farellones accommodations are ski-in ski-out, whilst most properties sit below or to the side of the base area, so it requires a short walk to get to the slopes. A couple of the hotels in the lower part of the village provide complimentary shuttle services up to the Farellones ski slopes.

Duration & Arrival Day: At Farellones there is flexibility regarding the duration and start day of your stay.

Budget: The lodging caters to a range of budgets, although there are no 5 star glitzy hotels or super luxe apartments. Everything is a little more relaxed and low key in Farellones. Farellones generally provides better value for money than the other Tres Valles villages.

Getting Around Tres Valles: Some accommodation hosts provide transport up to La Parva (4km - 8 mins drive) and El Colorado (3km - 7 mins drive) and Valle Nevado (13km - 20 mins drive). The village of Farellones is connected to the main El Colorado ski area by a couple of surface tows. Powder hounds might get a little impatient on a powder day, although your lodging may drive you up to El Colorado (or another ski resort) if you want first lifts.

Other: Farellones is a picturesque village particularly just after a snowfall, and it sits on the tree-line which adds to the attractiveness of the village. Farellones Chile is reasonably small and consists of only several streets. There are only a limited number of restaurant & nightlife options in Farellones however most accommodations provide breakfast & dinner.
