We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Truckee Tahoe and found it a great base to explore nearby Sugar Bowl and Northstar. We had a car which we conveniently parked just outside, but it’s great that the hotel is on a couple of the bus routes.

We stayed in a king room which was spacious, and for such an affordable hotel, we were surprised at how comfortable the bed was and the luxuriousness of the doona. The room had an excellent air conditioning/heating unit that was great for drying out ski clothing. The room was kitted out with a microwave and small fridge, but we didn’t need to use them as we headed next door for dinner.

There were quite a lot of families staying at the hotel when we visited and it was easy to see that the hotel was ideal for a family vacation.

We can very easily recommend a stay at the Hotel Truckee Tahoe.
