TPX Alaska Heli Weeks

A TPX Heli Ski Week offers a boutique Alaskan heli skiing experience for small groups (max 8 guests per tour date) in a unique location. A Triple Point Expeditions Heli Ski Week includes a stay of 7 nights in the beautiful timber lodge and the ability to ski or ride 7 days. Each ski week starts on Saturday (check-in at 4pm) and ends after skiing on the following Saturday, a couple of hours before your flight home, so book a late flight home to maximize your on-snow time.

See the Triple Point Expeditions Heli Ski overview for information on location, terrain and reviews.

Highlights of a Triple Point Expeditions Heli Ski Week:

  • Access is really straight forward with just a 45 minute drive from Anchorage airport.
  • Packages include 6 hours of flying time (hobbs) for each group of 4.
  • A typical day would be about 8-12 runs (average 10) subject to group speed & weather. Average runs are 3,000 vertical feet, so 30,000 feet per day.
  • The average number of fly days is 70%.
  • TPX uses A-Star B2 & B3 helicopters which are fast & efficient for small group heli skiing. They hold up to 4 guests in the back seat plus guide & pilot in the front.
  • Lodging is provided in a beautiful lodge with 3 gourmet meals daily. The heli lands right at the lodge.
  • Solo travelers, couples and small groups can apply for spots, however dates may depend on a fit with a larger group with similar abilities to yours.
  • Ideally you would be a group of 4 or 8 so you don't have to share the heli with anyone else.
  • If there is a down-day due to weather, other activities could include ski touring (BYO gear), fat biking, glacier tours, fishing, surfing, Denali tours & more.
