Very Good

28/07/2020
We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge at Big Sky and it was a good solid choice for lodging at Big Sky at reasonable prices.

Our room, whilst a bit dated with respect to the furniture, was very spacious and even our “valley views” were quite nice. The heating system was good but one minor limitation was a lack of soundproofing between the room inter-connection and we got a little noise from next door.

The lounge a nice place to chill out and it was aesthetically lovely if you could ignore the breakfast stuff that they left out in the corner. There was a bar but we had to go to the front desk to order a drink, and sometimes we had to wander back and forth between the front desk and bar to get a drink and pay for it.

Breakfast was very decent and they offered a few hot items although this included those revolting fake scrambled eggs, but there was enough variety of items on offer.

The service wasn’t amazing but compared to our experiences with the Big Sky resort staff, the service at this privately owned hotel was far superior.

The location was very reasonable. Sure it’s not ski-in ski-out but close enough to the slopes and an easy enough walk to get to evening restaurants.
