The Canyons Village Lodging

The Canyons Village sits at the base of the Park City Ski Resort on the side of the resort that was formerly known as The Canyons. The Park City Canyons Village lodging consists of deluxe to luxury hotels and condos, all of which are ski-in ski-out or only a short walk to one of the gondolas or chair lifts. Canyons village lodging is rather popular with families in part due to the proximity to the slopes, ski school and child care.

The lower parts of the Canyons Village feature private condos and homes, whilst the upper parts of the resort within the Canyons skiing area have luxurious private mansions.

The Canyons village provides all the required amenities for skiers and snowboarders including equipment rental shops, a handful of retail shops, a large ski school, and child care. There are several restaurants, bars and eateries that range from casual to upmarket. The nightlife can be very vibrant during specific events; otherwise the nightlife is typically more on the subdued side. Potential cons of Canyons Village accommodations are that it’s a little more difficult to get to Main Street (4.5 miles away) and to Deer Valley Ski Resort (6.2 miles away), although there are buses and shuttles (and taxis) to connect these zones if you don’t have a car.
