Given that the few days I skied were during the New Year Holiday the staff did a reasonable job of crowd control and the trails were adequately covered with artificial snow.

I understand that is necessary to cut and trim trees that may impact the operation of the lifts. But I was shocked riding the Parallel lift at the careless cutting of trees that littered the surroundings had no direct impact of the lift. It's just a complete disregard for the beauty of the forests. Furthermore ugly trails were bulldozed haphazardly through the trees leaving a mess.

Groomed trails are very well maintained. The nighters are less crowded but the area is smaller.
