Park City Restaurants & Nightlife

Tyax Heli Skiing Packages
Main Street is the hub of the bars and restaurants in Park City Utah. There are also dining and nightlife options in the outer parts of Park City and at the main base of the Park City ski resort.

For dining at the Canyons village, see the Canyons restaurants and nightlife page.

Restaurants in Park City Utah (Main Street)

On historic Main St eager epicureans will find fine dining at Park City restaurants that are world renowned, basic pizzerias or tasty pub style food. The 100 Park City restaurants cover cuisine from many parts of the world including Thai, Japanese, Chinese and Greek.

We've enjoyed fine dining at Wahso on Main Street where there are lots of gorgeous red lights outside and a synthesis of Asian cuisines and OTT service.

Downtown Park City restaurants can be expensive, in part because you pay for the real estate and glamour. If you need to be nice to your wallet, you can eat away from the main strip or for a really cheap feed, there are lots of eateries in Kimball Junction.

Restaurants Park City Mountain Resort Base

Evening dining venues near the main base of the Park City ski resort are somewhat limited.

If you want a delightfully cheap (relative to the expensive downtown Park City restaurants) and big feed go to the Baja Cantina Tex-Mex restaurant. It’s cheerful and very festive, or maybe that’s just the size of the margaritas! They don’t take reservations, and considering the prices it is not surprising that this Park City restaurant is popular with families.

Park City Dining Activities

Dining at the Viking Yurt up at the Park City Mountain Resort is a unique experience. The yurt is warm and cozy, and they serve up a Norwegian multi-course feast. A major part of the experience is the trip up there via a snowcat-pulled sleigh with amazing views across Park City. Dress warmly (unless you can go inside the snowcat)!

Another novel dinner option is the Snowed Inn Dinner & Sleigh Ride, which includes a horse-drawn sleigh ride from the base to a mountain lodge where a gourmet Western-style meal is prepared.

Park City Nightlife & Bars

The Park City nightlife is much more vibrant than most other parts of Utah, but don’t get too excited. This is not Whistler or St Anton! This is Utah where the bar scene in PC tends to finish at around 1am, if not before. And despite the liquor laws having eased up somewhat, it’s still a little mind boggling trying to get your head around which bars you have to buy food in order to get alcohol. Or perhaps don’t try to figure it out, just go with the flow!

Cocktails tend to cost a fortune and because this is Utah you wonder whether they’ve actually put any alcohol in your drink. A cosmopolitan cocktail can taste like fruit punch!

A great exception to this is the High West Distillery and Saloon. There’s no fear of diluted Utah alcohol here! This bar has various wines, cocktails and whiskeys with yummy flavours such as Dead Man’s Boots (OK that doesn’t sound so scrumptious but it was!).

Other Park City bars include O’Shucks and The No Name Saloon. There are also various wine and cocktail bars for a chic drink.

Bars & Nightlife Park City Mountain Resort Base

The choice of bars for après-ski near the main base of the Park City ski resort is limited, but that makes it all the more festive. Legends Bar and Grill at the base of the resort in Legacy Lodge is pumping at après time, and has plenty of character.

The Corner Store Pub and Grill has more of a locals feel and is great for an après ski drink.

Deer Valley Dining

Deer Valley is located just a few minutes by free shuttle bus from Park City and whilst the nightlife scene is pretty tame there are some world-class restaurants at the resort worth checking out.
