The town of Banff is well set up for skiers and snowboarders with various facilities and services.
Banff Ski Rentals
There are lots of options for Banff ski rentals and snowboard hire, with various ski shops dotted around the town. Chances are that there’s a shop right near your hotel, or some hotels such as the
Banff Springs Hotel have their own ski rentals. Otherwise there are some Banff ski rental shops that offer a complimentary taxi shuttle to get between your lodging and the shop.
There are also ski rentals at
Sunshine Ski Resort and
Lake Louise, although these are more expensive than Banff ski rentals, with the exception of the Banff Ski Hub, the official store of the three ski areas where prices are a little inflated.
Mt Norquay also has ski and snowboard rentals, and their rates are similar to those found in town.
All the ski shops also have equipment tuning and repair workshops.
Facilities for Children
There is child care available at Norquay, Sunshine Village and Lake Louise ski resort.
In Banff, some of the hotels provide child care, or there are various companies that provide babysitting and will come to your hotel or condo in Banff, Canmore or Lake Louise.
