Evening Restaurants Sunshine Village
The majority of trade at
Sunshine Village is with day-trippers, but for those staying at the
Sunshine Mountain Lodge, there are a few restaurants to choose from and a limited nightlife.
The Chimney Corner Lounge has a couple of fireplaces. The fare is reasonably casual and reasonably priced and includes burgers, sandwiches, chicken wings and fondue, and there's an extensive drinks list.
The Sunshine Mountain Lodge also has a fine dining restaurant open in the evenings, the Eagle’s Nest. This restaurant provides an intimate setting and offers upscale cuisine and an extensive wine list.
The Mad Trapper’s Saloon in the Old Sunshine Lodge is a great spot to go during the day for a drink and a feed, and sometimes on sunny days they have BBQs out on the deck to tempt all the passers-by. For après-ski festivities, Mad Trapper’s Saloon is the place to be. Stay for dinner for pub style nosh and for post dinner drinks until midnight. This pub can be a bit of fun, particularly if the staff have just been paid, although the nightlife at Sunshine is still reasonably limited.
For those staying down in Banff, there are lots of options for
Banff restaurants and nightlife.
