Kaprun Ski Lessons & Guiding

The ski resort at Kaprun-Kitzsteinhorn has some obvious off-piste terrain to explore, but beyond the marked freeride routes on the glacier & sneaky tree-skiing near Maiskogel, the real prize is a little harder to fathom. Freeride descents from Kitzsteinhorn can be nearly 2000m skiable vertical in good snow conditions. Whilst a guide is not essential, the journeys tend to require a little more planning than may be apparent. Depending on conditions, most guides will utilise the awesome freeride terrain in the nearby Powderhounds' favourite resort of Skicircus Saalbach as well.
