Much of the nest terrain is only a short distance from the ski lifts. Whether it is the super steeps, couloirs & backcountry at Nordkette ski area; on the peaks around Kuhtai; the inbounds or backside of Axamer Lizum; or the summits of Patscherkofel & Glungezer, exploring it all on a short visit is most efficiently done with a local instructor or guide.
