Zell am See Ski Lessons & Guiding
The ski resort at Zell am see may appear to have limited off-piste terrain to explore, but away from the marked routes, it is simply not obvious nor easy to access for the uninitiated. Aside from the marked freeride routes, descents via the high alpine & steep forested slopes to the valley or toward Saalbach can take alot of time to find, let alone safely navigate without previous knowledge. The same can be said for nearby Kaprun-Kitzsteinhorn, where the glacier environment adds further challenges. Freeride descents from around Kitzsteinhorn can be nearly 2,000m vertical in good snow conditions. Most guides will utilise the awesome freeride terrain in the nearby Powderhounds' favourite resort of Skicircus Saalbach as well.
