The Civetta ski resort is a many and varied beast with a complex set of lifts, pistes & backcountry that can be difficult to make sense of during a short ski holiday. For off-piste powder, the larch & pine glades into Val di Zoldo, the fabulous Rue de Porta backcountry route via Lago Coldai off Civetta and down into Alleghe, and wide-open powder fields on the flanks of nearby Pelmo can be easier to find with a local guide or instructor.
