Val Gardena Ski Lessons & Guiding
If you are wanting to explore the off-piste at Val Gardena, you may have come to the wrong place! Val Gardena is however an awesome location to learn to ski & improve your skills on-piste. A local ski instructor or guide may be of benefit to help find the best off-piste terrain because as a general observation, off-piste freeride is limited in Val Gardena. Aside from several options on Seceda, the trees above Monte Pana, the steeper pitches off the Ciampinoi & loads of rolling terrain near Passo Sella, most good descents require a journey across to Val di Fassa. The nearby Sella massif, accessed via Val di Fassa’s Sass Pordoi cable car, has some truly classic descents that will test the most hardened backcountry skier or boarder. Beyond the Sella, glacier descents on Marmolada into Passo Fedaia are the next best thing, plus have more reliable snow cover.
Check out the listings below to find a great local ski instructor or mountain guide to make finding the best powder in the high alpine environment easier, safer & more fun. Or you can just book regular on-piste ski lessons too.
