All Things Garmisch was a great solution. If you are a seasoned visitor to the Alps, you may not need their expertise, but for us it made it possible. At the risk of overselling, Jake put a trip together for us based on what he gathered in a video call. So it fit. (The listing that first drew us in sounded nice, but the details more likely fit something for my wife and me. What we arrived at fit two old friends who mostly wanted to ski.) Garmisch-Partenkirchen is an interesting town - more town than resort - and the activities outside of skiing (tours, food, excellent beer) were great. This old history minor loved it.
The guides were cool: like skiing with solid skiing friends who knew the hills and the facilities (as well as the roads!). And the Alps are astounding.

A couple of 70 plus year old off piste ex instructors spent weeks trying to put together a 10 day trip to the alps. After reaching out to All Things Garmisch the trip was put together in three days. And what a trip! Three countries, five ski areas, daily guide with transportation, excellent accommodations, outstanding food and personal guided tours on rest days. Only thing we missed was off-piste but ATG can’t control the weather.
