Iwanai Cat Skiing Hokkaido
Iwanai Powder Cat Tours is one of the Niseko cat skiing outfits.
Iwanai Cat Skiing is a very good all-rounder snowcat operation, and the snowcat cabin has lots of windows so you can appreciate the magnificent views across the sea; that's of course if it's not dumping with snow!
Rising Sun Guides Cat Skiing Niseko
Rising Sun Cat Skiing (Big Wave) near Niseko breaks any stereotypes for Japan snowcat skiing (which are typically mellow and at old ski resorts). The Big Wave retro snowcats were pretty cool!
Shimamaki Cat Skiing Hokkaido
Shimamaki Cat Skiing by Hokkaido Backcountry Club served up 2 epic days to the Powderhounds with powder and face shots galore. Staying in the little fishing village of Shimamaki was fantastic to remind us that Japan is not just awesome for its powder.
Niseko Weiss Cat Skiing
It was snowing heavily all day at Weiss Cat Skiing in Niseko Japan. We don't call Niseko the powder machine for nothing! The cat skiing is at the old Weiss ski resort and it's mostly very mellow terrain; ideal for intermediates and those getting acquainted with powder skiing and snowboarding. Weiss Cat Skiing here.
Chisenupuri Snowcats Niseko
The Powderhounds headed out with
Chisenupuri Snowcats near Niseko and the snow was like a magic carpet. The powder wasn't super deep but the quality was divine! Chisenupuri Niseko cat skiing is pretty mellow and a great introduction to snowcat skiing and for those relatively new to the joys of riding powder.
