Club Med Kiroro Grand

Kiroro Grand is one of two Club Med resorts at Kiroro Resort. Kiroro Grand Club Med opened in 2023 to cater to families of all ages and includes kids facilities. Kiroro Grand has a total of 261 rooms and provides packages that include meals, drinks, group ski/snowboard lessons and kids club.

Kiroro Grand was formerly The Kiroro Tribute Hotel and The Piano prior to that. The hotel has been refurbished to align with the Club Med brand. 

Where is Kiroro Grand?

The Kiroro Grand is located in Akaigawa in Hokkaido Japan, 1.4km from the main base of the Kiroro Ski Resort where the other Club Med property sits, the Kiroro Peak. Kiroro Grand is ski-in ski-out via a gentle beginner slope that drops down from the main base area of the ski resort, and the two zones are connected via a chondola (part gondola, part chair lift), the beginners’ slope, and frequent shuttles. Kiroro is located 25km south of the seaside town of Otaru, and 56km west of the city of Sapporo. Airport transfers from the New Chitose (Sapporo) Airport are included as part of the Club Med package.

Snowsports Lessons

Group ski lessons are provided in the morning and afternoon for kids (ages 4 and up), teens and adults.

Group snowboard lessons are provided for ages 8 and up.

Lessons are for complete beginners up to advanced skiers and snowboarders.

For an additional cost, private ski lessons can be provided for ages 4 and up.

All lessons remain inside resort boundaries.

Kids

Ages 0-2

Thanks to the Club Med Baby Welcome Kit, carefree travel with your baby. Equipped with everything necessary for the wellbeing of your little one: reserved in advance without additional costs, childcare material for children aged from 0 to 23 months awaits you in your room on arrival. Also, on request, take advantage of the loan of a pushchair.

Ages 2-3 – additional cost

At Petit Club Med, 2-3 year olds blossom through indoor and outdoor play. From mural painting to treasure hunts, each day is filled with early learning, social skills, and new discoveries. We provide quiet time for naps, stories and nursery rhymes. Book in advance to secure a tailored experience for your child, with hands-on activities, games, and sports. Our caring early years professionals ensure dedicated attention and a safe environment. With proven expertise and a passion for working with little explorers, the qualified G.Os encourage play, discovery and enthusiasm.

Ages 4-12 - Included

Welcome to Mini Club Med+! Our enhanced program offers more fun, friendships, and confidence-building adventures for young G.M®s. Experience new activities and sports, creating joyful moments and celebrations together. Inspired by Positive Education, Mini Club Med+ promotes cooperation, kindness, and personal growth. Our dedicated G.O®s encourage children to develop their strengths, from creativity to self-confidence. With their expertise, they create a nurturing environment where kids thrive and make lasting memories.

Ages 11-13 - Included

The new destination for 11-13 year-olds with a programme tailored to today's teenagers driven by the desire to discover and explore. Our friendly G.O®s are on hand to keep the schedule exciting and varied. This supervision complements the ski and snowboard lessons offered in the morning and afternoon.

Ages 14-17 – Included

An innovative programme where freedom and kindness reign. Meeting new people, exploring the world together, making spaces theirs’… The energetic G.O®s will take the teens to new heights and ensure they’ll have a blast. This supervision complements the ski and snowboard lessons offered in the morning and afternoon.

Dining

Meals are included in your package, with the exception of dinner at a sushi restaurant and a wagyu beef restaurant.
