Palisades Tahoe Activities

A lot of Palisades Tahoe activities are available at High Camp. This includes a 1960 Winter Olympic Museum (ho hum), an ice skating rink, and even a massive swimming pool complex that is open for spring.

In the village there is a decent climbing wall and in the valley there is dog sledding, snow shoeing, snow tubing and 18km of cross-country trails.

A number of day spas are located in Palisades Tahoe. The Resort at Squaw Creek has the large Spa at Squaw Creek complex, and another is the Trilogy Spa.
 
If the snow has inexplicably turned to Sierra cement or you want a day off skiing, drive to Nevada and visit the historic Virginia City or Reno where you can gamble to your heart’s content. Or simply wander along the pretty shoreline of Lake Tahoe.
