Snowmass Restaurants
There are about 20 Snowmass restaurants that range from low key to upscale. Cuisine types include American, Asian, International, Italian, and a steakhouse.
Snowmass also has various eateries that offer cheap take-away food.
Most of the Snowmass restaurants are situated in the Mall. One example is the Venga Venga Cantina & Tequila Bar that is located slopeside at the end of the mall. With a huge range of tequilas and wines, you can start here for après drinks, and then ease into Mexican appetizers or dinner in the relaxed environment.
The Base Village has a couple of bars that do great pub-style meals, whilst some of the best Snowmass restaurants can be found inside hotels such as 8K at the Viceroy and The Artisan at the Stonebridge Inn.
For something a bit novel, you can ride a snowcat up to dinner at the elegant Western-style Lynn Britt cabin. Or on Tuesdays there are snowcat dinners at Burlingame Cabin with a barbeque meal. This is geared up as a family event. Or
Krabloonik offer dog sled rides before a classy dinner in their restaurant.
Alternatively you can easily catch one of the free RFTA buses into Aspen to enjoy one of the many
Aspen restaurants.
Snowmass Bars & Nightlife
Snowmass has a handful of stand-alone bars and some of the upscale restaurants also have a bar area. The Snowmass nightlife is reasonably sedate and many of the families who vacation at Snowmass head to bed early. Of course the
Aspen nightlife is rocking, so it’s easy enough to pop into Aspen if you want to party.
Zane’s Tavern in the Mall is a low frills sports bar. It has a pool tab and also serves classic pub grub with an emphasis on ultra fried fare.
Located in the Base Village,
Base Camp Bar and Grill has an outside bar that is ideal for lunch or après drinks. The indoor area also has an open feel to it and the modern décor is topped off with light fittings made of cutlery! Most of the meals here are pub-style.
